Nick Warren played at Poison last night. He was in one word...Brilliant!
We entered Posion at around 11 only to find out that no one was there. Thought Nick Warren would just not play owing the crowd, but nope! DJ Llyod opened with some good funk and progressive house. After about half an hour, the man Nick Warren took over . Started with a couple of popular GU 30 and GU 32 tracks. Then came the smashing Paolo Mojo, 1984 track and that completely rocked the house! Kept the same hard dance goin on, made the desis and me crazy on the floor, and then played "Vanessa Mae- I Feel Love ". Took it to another level , danced even harder and then went on to some old school, progressive- Nick Warren style.
The brilliant 2.5 hr set ended with a track that i am still trying to figure out....I can only remember some of the words..." Dancing , Dancing....".
The crowd was fine, except for this motherfucking guy standing beside me an screaming like it was a fucking rock concert!
But in the end, in the words of Nick Warredn himself..."Mumbai...YOU ARE WICKED!!"
